"Micom" means this sleek rice cooker is computer-controlled and ultra high-tech, from its spherical, nonstick pan to its "surround heating" system to its LCD clock and timer. (Program the cooker in the morning and have hot rice available immediately after work.) It not only cooks up to 3 cups of dry rice, but offers a choice of white/brown, mixed, sweet, and porridge settings. A quick-cooking option cuts time by 10 minutes. Rice is automatically kept at warm for hours, and a reheat feature brings it back to serving temperature. Instructions and a cooking chart explain everything. Comes with 12 easy-to-follow recipes. Note: Although you can use this cooker to prepare brown rice, an additional step is involved. You must first soak the brown rice in water before cooking, at least four hours or overnight for best results.

This great little rice cooker is a godsend - a blessing!! It meets and exceeds all of my expectations!
In the two years that I've had it, I'd like to say that I've got nothing but good praises and great appreciation for this unit!! It cooks enough rice to accommodate up to six people at 1/2 a cup apiece!! And it does it with such great precision and efficiency!
And if you can't serve the rice when it's done, the cooker will automatically go into the Keep Warm setting. So that you'll have hot rice e3ven if it's about 20 minutes later!!
It's quick, powerful, compact and convenient!! Gets the job done! And using it is such a joy and plessure!! I love it!! I sometimes get the urge and have to give it a rub or pat on the back like I would with a litte boy!!! It makes perfect rice everytime!!

Having owned a much cheaper rice cooker that never managed to cook nice rice, I took a chance on this one. Boy am I glad I did! It is worth the price, no question. I am a total Zojirushi convert and I will never be without one again. This thing is a little odd looking but it's just beautifully engineered.

Hi, We love this little rice maker, it's the perfect size for the countertop and makes perfect stickyrice every time. warming feature is very useful and doesn't dry out the rice. Owned ~ 2yrs & love it, no problems! Highly Recommended.

I have been using this rice cooker almost daily for four years. It has worked flawlessly for me. The non-stick liner really works - I have never had rice stick to the bottom. I really like this machine because it can cook small amounts of rice. I usually cook 1/2 cup of rice for my wife and I and it works great. The timer function is really handy. If you are looking for a small capacity rice cooker that will not give you any problems - this is the one! My highest possible endorsement.

I love this rice's maker's small size. At capacity it is enough rice to serve 5-6 people an entree portion size. But you can even do 3/4 cup rice for a one person sizeable meal with no loss in quality. Cleanup is a breeze, as well. We've done white, brown and wild rice and all have been great. Oat meal is next.
There are only 2 drawbacks:the keep warm part for small rice qualities seems to dry the rice out pretty quickly. Also the countdown timer which lets you know how long you have doesn't beep when it kicks in so you have to keep an eye on it to know how long you have. For one cup of white rice roughly 30 minutes and 45 minutes for brown and an hour for wild.
