Amazon.com Review NordicWare's handy Microware TM series for the microwave gives home chefs the tools they need for clean, lean, and fast cooking. This unique egg boiler safely prepares up to four hard- or soft-boiled eggs within its own white, oval shell. To use, simply place whole eggs into the little grooves of the interior perforated shelf (piercing not required), then screw on the top and cook. No more hot water and delicate maneuvering to keep the delicate goods intact! The plastic boiler is high-heat tolerant and goes conveniently into the dishwasher. --Kara Karll
Product Description Simple and fast. This microwavable egg shaped container makes perfect soft or hard boiled eggs. Holds up to 4 eggs. Dishwasher safe.

It works! It's brilliant! June 27, 2008 E. Levin 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
8.5 minutes in a 1000 watt oven does the trick. No mess, no huge quantity of boiling water. Read the instructions-- it's easy!
yes, it works! June 25, 2008 wii girl My only complaint is that it only hold 4 eggs. I used to have the kind you plugged in and I thought that was great but this one is even better. It does take a little trial and error to find the best time for your microwave. But once you know exactly how long works best for you it is a snap to use. I still wouldn't recommend kids using it because it does get very hot and the boiling water inside could easily spill on them as well as they could be burned by the steam when opening it. It is so easy to use otherwise. you just fill the bottom with water, put the metal egg holder in, put upto 4 eggs in it and put the top on. I think I cook mine for about 8 mins. Then you open it up, put the eggs in cool water, and dump out the boiling water. They taste great. I have had some that seemed to get a little scorched and I'm not quite sure why. But normally they are great. Also makes a great gift. I gave one to a friend at work that does that diet with eggs and bacon every morning. She used to forget about the eggs on the stove every morning and I was scarred she would burn the building down. Now she uses this and loves it... and I feel safe :)!
great egg cooker June 10, 2008 Pamela L. Littrell (Gresham, Oregon United States) not that making hard boiled eggs is that difficult but it is nice not to have to mess with the stove and try and remember how long you have to let the egg's boil - it makes perfect hard boiled eggs in 8 minutes in the microwave - or soft boiled in less
OLDER FOLKS LIKE THIS! June 8, 2008 JillO (Wisconsin) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I work for a 90 year old who recently bought one of these. She loves it! Mostly for ease in cleanup, and the uniformity of the cooking process. Reading the reviews, though, I do hope they make the "Egg" easier to open!
Super easy boiled eggs May 27, 2008 A. Eliot (New York) I absolutely love this little device. It makes boiled eggs with no hassle, no fuss. And it couldn't be easier- just pop 1-4 onto the tray on the inside, cover and zap. Your microwave will have its wattage information on it, depending on that you look at the provided sheet to see how long you need to cook for. For my microwave, it is 8 minutes. And that's it. One thing I read here is that some people had problems opening and closing it. Mine was the opposite, the top seemed slightly looser than it should be, doesn't click on. Doesn't bother me, either way you need to take this out with two hands, one on bottom one on top. Doesn't affect anything, no leakage. Highly recommend!
