Product Description Our newest chopper is also our most compact and quickest. Pop an onion into the container, then, hold the top and bottom in both hands. With a few, quick flicks of the wrists, the onion is reduced to a fine chop.

Kuhn Rikon Chopper August 31, 2008 PC Checker Concept is great...doesn't perform as advertised. Does a nice coarse chop on onions if that is all you ever want to chop then you are in business. The blades sit too high to chop garlic or anything small. I purchased this item to get away from my electric gadgets and hoped the clean up would be easier. I would not waste my money on this gadget.
Great little gizmo August 8, 2008 Bluebonnet I'm very happy with this little chopper. The blades are very sharp (but for that, I'd get one for my mother-in-law, who would not be able to handle the blade assembly safely). As at least one other reviewer mentioned, you have to get a feel for the right amount to put in it. I'd say, don't fill the bowl more than halfway, but a little less than that is better. If you twist the lid while holding the bowl sideways and shaking it a few times, you get a reasonably even chop. It's great for firm things like onions and garlic, and did a much better job than I expected with pickles and even mushy things like cooked chicken. I would normally chop onions and garlic by hand because I don't like the crushing effect of a food processor, but because of the sharpness of these blades, the result is just fine, and this gizmo sure does save a lot of time. Easy to clean up, I put all the parts on the top rack of the dishwasher (no heated dry and I make sure to position the top part of the lid, with the gears, so that it is standing up sideways).
no more tears January 7, 2008 J. Carney (Oklahoma City, OK) I bought myself a Kuhn Rikon Twist and Chop 2 years ago, as I am so sensitive to raw onions. Love it, so went to get one for my daughter, and couldn't find one until I found it on Amazon. She loves it too. We still weep a bit when chopping onions, but don't have to worry about cutting off our fingers...highly recommend it.
