Use constantly February 16, 2008 C. Portu (Florida) Several times a week. Very handy, especially considering how often we make fish in our home.
Smaller than I expected December 11, 2007 Randi W. (Arizona) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is very nice quality but I expected it to be larger from the way it appeared in the picture. You can turn some small cutlets over in the pan but it didn't work well for fish fillets.
Great for eggs November 8, 2007 Grr...Arrgh 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I like my fried eggs over easy to over medium- I want all the whites cooked, but the yolk should be runny enough to dip toast in. Mmmmmm. Prior to owning this spatula, I spent years frustrated by efforts to use a plastic spatula to successfully flip eggs without breaking the yolk (which ruins the dipability). Other people seem to have no problem with this simple task, but I always did it wrong and ended up with broken yolks. The silicone edge on this spatula means I don't ruin my non-stick pan, the slotted metal glides easily under the entire egg, and the width makes it easy to flip the whole egg. The spatula works great on all pans (it's especially useful for non-stick), it's wonderfully easy to clean, it feels nice in the hand, and it looks good. I've been using it for cooking quite a bit, but what really matters the most and what makes it special to me is the incomparable ability to flip an egg and leave the yolk intact.
