Product Description
Experience the Freedom of Cordless Ironing. Our cordless steam iron helps take the hassle out of ironing. There is no cord to get tangled or caught on the end of the ironing board, so ironing is quick and easy! 3-Way Auto Shut-Off Remembers to Turn Off the Iron When You Don't. No more trips back home to see if you left the iron on. Our mercury-free electronic sensor automatically shuts off the iron after 10 minutes if it is left in the upright position. The iron will also turn off after 60 seconds if it is tipped over on its side or left unmoved on the soleplate. Our Non-Stick Coated Soleplate Helps Make Ironing Easier. The non-stick coating helps the iron glide smoothly and effortlessly over fabrics, making the task of ironing a lot more tolerable. Retractable Cord Reel on the Charging Base for Easy Storage. The charging base on the NI-L46NR features a retractable cord reel that allows you to use the cord length you need. When finished, the cord automatically rewinds with a simple tug and easily fits inside the base for easy storage. See-Through Detachable Water Tank. The detachable water tank snaps off the base of the iron for easy filling and emptying. It also can be removed for enhanced maneuverability to reach tough areas like cuffs and sleeves. The water level can be seen with a simple glance, so you know when it's time to refill. Electronic Temperature Control. Controlled by a microprocessor, this feature maintains the selected ironing temperature accurately. Indicator lights signal the temperature settings. Efficient Ironing Made Easy. With the All-Temperature Steam/Dry Setting feature, you can use steam with a full range of temperature settings for more efficient ironing. 2-for-1 with Jet-of-Steam and Self-Cleaning. A powerful burst of steam helps remove stubborn wrinkles when ironing. It also helps clean the steam vents on the soleplate when you're done. Heat-Resistant Carrying Case. Our NI-L46NR cordless iron comes with a carrying case for extra portabili

5 out of 5 stars Best Iron   August 31, 2008
Deborah L. Kutz (tampa, fl)
This is the best iron I've ever owned. You can't beat the cordless & it stays hot the whole time I iron. I couldn't even find a cordless iron in any of the stores.

5 out of 5 stars I love it   August 29, 2008
D. Shen (TX)
After I bought this item,I begin to love iron. It is very convenient, powerful and not as heavy as normal iron.

3 out of 5 stars Not a Rowenta!   August 27, 2008
Chris L. Tovey (Tucson)
After my Rowenta finally bit the dust the 18th time I dropped it, I thought I'd try a cordless and was really looking forward to that feature. Unfortunately it doesn't stay hot long enough to be truly useful. I can iron about 1/3 of a shirt before I have to stick it back on the charger, which is pretty annoying. Back to Rowenta for me...

5 out of 5 stars just what I wanted   August 11, 2008
Lisa Cooper (Vancouver, WA)
This is something that I have wanted for a long time and now that I have it, yeah! It doesn't leak and it heats like I need and works exactly like they say. I will probably never go back to a cord again. Lisa

1 out of 5 stars Not EVEN a Good Iron   August 8, 2008
Janet Baker (Guadalajara, Mexico)

This iron is only acceptable if you develop a routine around ironing that includes stopping for a minute and doing a dish or two, then ironing for a minute, then stopping for a minute and taking out the trash, then ironing again for a minute. And so forth! It loses heat fairly quickly and really has to re-heat every single time, a minute or even two. The LED glows 'steady' indicating it's ready, but most of the time this does not mean it's reached an adequate temperature on its re-heat. In other words, the LED light is not reliable. It's really more than a bit frustrating. I wish I had listened to the negative reviews on this on this one, and I also wish that negative reviewers were less kind with their stars. Three stars is bearable, and I believe that's the lowest rating this iron received, whereas, not actually being useful when you're under the gun (say, a job interview in twenty minutes and you need to iron the cotton shirt!), this product is simply not functional and rates no stars. That not being an option, I gave it a one, and you might seriously consider the implications.
