I purchased one of the bath sheets in sand after looking at various big name retailers. I'm sincerely impressed so far. It seems to be of high quality construction. The sheet hasn't gone through the wash many times yet, so I can't speak to the long term quality, but I suspect it will hold up nicely.
A couple things to consider. First, the towel is huge! I have other bath sheets and this one dwarfs them all. I fold it over once to fit on my towel rack. Also, the towel is fairly heavy. The best word to describe it is "plush".
After using this one, I purchased the hand towels and a regular bath towel for my wife. We love them so far!
If you buy the bath sheet, have a sturdy hook to hang it on August 31, 2008

Boy these are nice. They are huge, heavy, soft, and are very good quality. I've never seen this type of quality at any department store. Make sure you have a strong towel hook if you buy the bath sheet, it's huge!

For me, I didn't really like this towel. It looks good but isn't that useful for me. It was too heavy, big and bulky and not all that absorbent. I like a towel that I can dry off with and then use to wrap around my hair while I get ready. The towel is way too heavy to use as a hair wrap.
But if I was going to the beach and wanted something to lay out on or for the dogs to lay on, it would do okay.

This is the most softest and fluffiest towel I have ever use. It weight very heavy too. For around $7 it a steal. On the first wash, just don't wash it with other clothes. It shed a lots. This beat out some of those towels used in the 5 starts hotel. At first I only ordered two set (bath, hand towels). I went back and ordered another 5 sets after two weeks of usage. Highly recommended.
