Upon receipt, these washcloths felt heavenly... so soft and light-weight. But when I got them wet, they became extremely heavy. Because they are so soft, they do not exfoliate your skin. These are probably wonderful hand and bath towels, but I wouldn't recommend the wash cloths.

The color is just like the photo and I like that and they feel soft and they get me dry. But in the end the weight annoyed me so much that I went back to my lighter bath towels. I just have never felt such a heavy towel. I have bamboo kitchen towels and love them for their ability to soak up water but these don't work for me.

This is the most luxurious towel I have ever used. Better than the 4 and 5 star hotel towels that I have used. I really soaks up the water and leaves you very very dry. Would definately recommend and definately buy again.

I bought these towels in Lagoon for my stepfather as a birthday gift. He says he'll never use another type of towel for the rest of his life. He had done his research and knew the care these towels required, but it's best for him to use air dried laundry (best for everyone in general and the environment, too) due to a skin condition, so that's not a problem. Also, my family uses vinegar in the wash (it's green and better for fabric than bleach) to get rid of bacteria, and bamboo fiber towels are naturally anti-fungal and anti-bacterial.
The colors are great, and Amazon has one of the best deals I could find on these towels.
Recommend the towel over the sheet August 2, 2008

Great, soft, luxurious product. I bought both the towel and the sheet, but if I were to buy again (and I'm likely to do so), I'd have gotten just towels. The sheet is just too big & heavy, making it ackward to use. The only other negative thing I can say is that I have had several fuzzies left on me from drying off, particularly at first. My morning beard stubble in particular seems to collect them. The bath towel is still highly recommended despite that particular nuisance.
