Very Disappointed October 7, 2008 Nancy Martin (Randolph, NJ United States) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
After reading the reviews my husband and I decided on purchasing this mattress for our kids to sleep on during our house remodeling. Unfortunately, on our 2nd night, air was leaking from the valve we found out during the night when our poor kids were sunk to the floor. I called Aerobed's Customer Service the next morning, and they quickly responded nonchalantly to exchange it for a new one. We have sent it back to amazon for a full refund we don't want to experiment another night with our kids on it. We're using another brand air mattress now that's a third of the price, and has not had to have air added to it for a month now with nightly use.
Super bed for guests! June 4, 2008 Hazel J. Boyd (Atascadero, CA United States) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is a great bed for extra guests and so quickly inflates. The higher style makes it so much easier getting in and out. It is extremely comfortable and stores away when not in use. Great product!
Let this be a lesson to you. May 7, 2008 bobtec (Redlands, CA) 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
This is puncture resistant heavy gauge. If the description doesn't say puncture resistant heavy gauge, it wont last long. I got a queen size that I paid $45 for that was good for 2 months. How do you patch the inner lining that separates the tubes? I ended up sleaping on 6 small tubes, and 1 huge one at the edge of the bed. Having previously gotten this same bed in a twin (must have been one of the last ones to buy), I know this one will hold up. If you go for the cheap "industrial strength" beds, they'll last about 2 to 4 months. If you go for the puncture resistant, it'll last a lot longer. Even though it costs a bit more, buying the less expensive ones costs more in the long run (they give you patches, but how are you going to find the puncture?). I'd say go for the puncture resistant, and save trouble down the road. Take it from a guy that's tossed 2 cheap air beds.

The Aerobed provided very good service during a move that had normal bedding in transit. I wouldn't use it in place of hard bedding

It took me a while to get used to the ridges on top, until I realized you shouldn't inflate it fully. Now it's very comfortable, and remains inflated for at least 3-4 days. The only complaint is it gets rather cold at night because the air inside is cold. I ended up putting a blanket on top of it. Been having good night sleep ever since.
