Added this switch timer for my outside driveway light over the garage door. Very easy to adjust for on/off times as sunset gets earlier or later. Highly recommend.

This product does exactly what I needed, and does it well. I replaced 2 standard wall switches with 2 of these switches to control exterior lights. The switches work well with compact fluorescent bulbs. Installation was easy, although it was a tight fit in one of the gang boxes. Programming the switch is not difficult, you just need to remember that you are indicating which half hour time blocks you want the light to be on (rather than programming on and off times). The switches have kept good time over the past 2 months, and have retained their programs when the power has been shut off. A downside is that the programming buttons are easily accessible and could be pressed/held by someone ... although this hasn't been an issue for me yet.

This product is excellent. Why i didn't rate five stars? Because you can't program a day of the week. You can only make a 24 hours program to be repeated.
Easy to install, easy to program.
I'm using this to turn on my water heater before i wake up, so i can sleep for half hour more a day.

The display is too small. The first unit I purchased worked OK for one week and then stopped working. The replacement unit I received was defective out of the box. I replaced it with a different brand.SmartDisk 6124H, Decora 24 hour Programmable TIMER ( 1122W )

This product works as advertised. I'm using it to control a whole house fan. Since the fan needs to run at night, I program the timer to turn the fan on at midnight and run for a couple hours. The LCD panel is great. You are able to program in 30 min increments. The instructions are straight forward and the connections are easy to make. I also like the ability to turn it on manually.
