I needed to replace some of my old shoji window shades and decided to get these without being able to really see and touch them first. They're made from a superior quality of rice paper than my old ones-- a denser paper, more sturdy, and they do a better job of blocking the glaring Southwestern light while allowing that wonderful translucent experience. I'm totally happy with these shades and just ordered one more. Also, the price is totally right.

Quality product, have now bought a couple. Super easy to install, does an excellent job of diffusing light evenly.
