We use these measuring cups for both measuring and to cook things such as vegetables in the microwave. We also use a little one to melt butter in for meals. You can microwave the butter, pour it as needed and then put the cup in the refrigerator until needed again. Pyrex is great stuff.

These are awesome! These are made of very thick Pyrex glass that can be used for hot or cold liquids. I've dropped mine a couple of times and they have not chipped or cracked. I highly recommend these!
