1 out of 5 stars Shuts off for no reason   October 10, 2008
Y. CHANG
Maybe I bought a defective one - the iron shuts off during operation and I don't know how to get it back to power on. The product guide says that it should shut off after extended inactivity or if it's left on on the sole pad. And it should turn back on if it's picked up. But since mine goes to the shutoff mode while I am holdig it in my hand, I don't know what to do to turn it back on. The iron does not stay on for more than a minute. I have to unplug it, cool it, and plug it back. I hope the store will take it back with no receipt.

2 out of 5 stars one serious defect   October 9, 2008

It is impossible to know how much water is in the iron. When you fill it you can't see whether or not you have passed the "MAX" line.

I am perfectly happy with this product. It does what it claims and there are no leaks while ironing my cloths.

4 out of 5 stars Really great   September 9, 2008

This iron is basic and works really well. It takes very little effort to get a good clean press. There is a problem, though, one that another review mentioned. I cannot see the water level. The plastic is too dark. So I usually end up overfilling it and water spills out while I'm ironing...but it irons so well that I don't mind so much.

All things considered (including the very reasonable price), it's a good iron with a flaw I can learn to live with.

4 out of 5 stars leaks   August 13, 2008

worked fine, but when I we went to store it overnight (about 8 hours), water leaked from it. It was stored properly, so can't tell where water was coming out.
