Makes threading the needle painless! August 12, 2008

This is the second sewing machine I've owned with a self-threading feature. The Brother SA250 Thread Cassette works very well. Once in awhile it misses and you have to repeat the process, but it beats doing it the old-fashioned way!

The other machine I have is a Simplicity. I never could get the self-threading feature to work on it. I bought the Brother SE270D to replace it and didn't hold out much hope for the self-threading feature to work, given my previous experiences. You will not be disappointed with the Thread Cassette!

Especially handy to load several ahead of time for your embroidery projects. I only have 2 cassettes and they work fine for my embroidery. I plan on buying a few more to keep loaded with black and white sewing thread.

I no longer fear self-threading machines!!!

I purchased this extra thread cassette to expedite time for changing of thread color. This is same as original cassette that came with sewing machine. It only saves me about two minutes of time when changing thread color. I would have been better off to purchase more spools of thread for $12.50.
