Product Description Advantage stops fleas from biting in 3-5 minutes, kills 98-100 percent of fleas within 12 hours of application, kills re-infesting fleas within two hours and lasts up to a month. Advantage kills fleas before they lay eggs, so their life cycle is broken. A liquid placed in between the shoulder blades of your pet.

Disappointed July 29, 2008 S. L. Cross (Virginia Beach, VA United States) Unfortunately this didn't help my Pekingese after day 2. She stopped itching for a day and she does have less fleas, but by day 3 she's back to itching constantly. I've treated the house and that didn't help. I think I just need to go to the Vet and get something that works.
Best Price July 27, 2008 Jean S. This is the best price that I have found for Advantage. I hope Amazon can keep this up.
Does the trick, and no horrific odors May 30, 2008 Alesia There's at least one other similar product out there that has the most awful, sickly sweet smell. Bearing in mind that dogs' sense of smell is thousands of times more sensitive than humans', what must wearing that stuff be like for the poor dogs? Advantage does have a detectable scent, but it's not overpowering or super long-lasting and doesn't affect our allergy-prone family. We bathe our dogs 1-2 times monthly and apply it on the first of every month, after their baths, and when they've dried. Even with that second (or 3rd sometimes) per month bath, Advantage keeps on working (if the minimal amount of itching they do is any indication). We've used it successfully for years.
Works like a dream April 29, 2008 Larisa Kudisheva I personally do not use it, as I don't have a dog but my aunt swears by it. She saith that it gets rid of all the pasts that the dog can get during it's walk.
Fleas Be Gone April 24, 2008 T. Taylor (Waco, Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was the first time I had used Advantage Flea Treatment. I found not only was it easy to apply, it did not have a strong chemical odor. The product was applied to our poor dogs who the term "flea bags" fit them all to well. Within 2 days there were no more fleas. The liquid is applied between the shoulder blades, dried quickly, no smell and best of all, killed all the fleas. By the way, the treatment did not stain material when the dogs rubbed up against something.
