Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Keep this extra Blender Jar around in the event your other one comes up missing or broken, or better still, in case you're throwing a party and are in need of two jars - one for margaritas, one for smoothies. A 5-cup capacity jar, it fits the Waring Bar Blender and is heat-proof and dishwasher safe. Add in powders, fruit or other ingredients through the secure lid opening - even while the machine is running. The stopper also doubles as a measuring device.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Sturdy glass carafe. Identical to original equipment.   August 23, 2005

I bought this at the same time I purchased a new Waring professional blender, so I can accurately compare the replacement to the original and I find them identical. The only surprise in both the original and the replacement when compared to my old Waring model carafe is that the bottom cannot be removed for easier cleaning.

I don't consider this a serious deficiency, as the all glass carafe (except for the blade and shaft on which the blade is mounted)is relatively easy to clean, with no little rubber or plastic nooks and crannies in which food can hide and fester.

Recommended.
