great blender for the moneySeptember 11, 2008 Barbara Jackson(Pawnee City, NE USA) I bought this because I was disappointed in most blenders after having a Vitamix. THe Waring reputation made me try it. It does a great job making smoothies and veggie and fruit drinks. It doesn't liquify the skins like the vitamix did but for the difference in price, it is great. I can mix in protein powders and ice cubes and have a great drink. I think this is well worth the price and it is easy to clean so it gets used often!

We've went through several blenders and this one is the best for 2 reasons:
(1) It is strong and can take withstand blending a whole-food feeding-tube formula.
