i prefer to use glass rather than plastic.
i like playtex. it' nice.
the only thing that i don't like is lids are little too tight.
it's not convinient.
but rest of all are good.

but not great-bowls are good quality glass but the tops are a pain to secure on.But well worth what I paid for them-good stacking,packing and transferring bowls-my freezer has never looked so organized-lol.I also own the square set-same issue-the tops are a real pain to get on and in no way would I put them in the dishwasher-they hardly fit as it is and Im pretty sure if I dishwashered them Id never get them on the bowls.

I bought these because of all of the reports about plastics leaking into your food when you microwave plastic containers. Best purchase ever! The variety of sizes are perfect. The lids fit very tight, which is great when you're transporting soup as I often do in the winter. I use them almost daily!

I know Pyrex makes a great product of which I highly recommend. However, I ordered this set from Amazon and received a box that I knew was in bad shape before I opened it-you could just hear the broken glass. I was upset at the lack of packaging but Amazon quickly sent a replacement set which is where my real complaint starts. 2nd set also made that familiar broken glass sound. No real protective packaging. A strip of like 4 (deflated upon arrival) air pouches hardly is enough to protect all sides of a box containing glass. Amazon refunded my money but all I really wanted was the Pyrex I had originally ordered in the first place. Time wasted. Now the price has gone up over $12 within a week and I'm still without what I originally wanted.
Great product but until Amazon figures out how to ship glass, I'll be shopping elsewhere.

I got these because I was becoming concerned about plastics leaching chemicals into my food. These still have plastic lids, but the portion that is in contact with the food is all glass. They're incredibly sturdy, and the seal is very tight.
