5 out of 5 stars Great Little Knife - A Real Work Horse   June 7, 2007

This little knife is such a great deal for the price. I like that it is completely stainless steel - no wooden handle to break off or get worn out in the dishwasher. The little indentations along the blade are what make it a Santoku. They keep food like cheese from sticking to the blade when you are slicing. This knife is very lightweight and those that are accustomed to expensive, high-quality knives will probably not like it. But it's wonderful for everyday use and seriously out-performs other similarly priced knives. I use it for slicing cheeses, sausages, small potatoes and vegetables, hoagies etc. So far, it remains very sharp and I'm glad I purchased 2!
