Handy stainless sink strihiner August 3, 2008 grandmama cook (Louisiana) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this Polder 6631-75 18/8 Stainless Steel Sink Strainer for my college age grandson and it appears to be surviving his less than tender care. It also keeps whatever he's straining out of the liquid in the sink, another of my concerns. I'll get another one for the younger boy when it's time.
Wonderful kitchen addition! March 12, 2008 madaboutdvds 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We bought this Feb. 2008 for $16 as part of the buy 3, get 1 free promo. This stainless steel strainer expands to hang from a tradtional dual split kitchen sink (for lack of a better description). Our intent was to replace our plastic collander with stainless steel (getting rid of all plastics in the house due to "toxins"- just playing it safe). The bonus is that because it hangs from your sink, we now have extra space to put glasses to dry w/o dripping water onto countertops! It's functional, attractive (if you care), and makes a great addition to any kitchen. You can get one for roughly the same price at Kohl's (maybe less, if on sale), however if you buy it w/ the Amazon promo. then it's a way better deal online. See my ordering tip below: Ordering tip: if you're going to buy a bunch of items, split them in separate orders and put all the lower priced items together so you can get (at least) one of the more expensive items for free. By doing so, I got one $18 item free, instead of two $3.99 items free. Of course, just make sure both shipments are more than $25 for free S&H. I just made sure I bought some other needed items that weren't part of the promo! These 4-for-3 deals are AWESOME, especially when combined w/ FREE S&H and no sales tax! Way to go Amazon!
Handy thing! November 27, 2007 Cyndi F (CT) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This strainer is super versatile. Don't know how I got by without it. Buying a few more to give to loved ones who can use them. Great for washing veggies, straining noodles, and even doubles as an extra drying rack when you run out of room. Fabulous, yet so simple.
Quality Strainer August 10, 2007 Love to Shop (FL) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This far exceeded my expectations. I put this strainer to work right away and found the quality very good. Sturdy, holds a lot and love those thick cushioned expandable arms (ultimate protection from scratches on your kitchen sink/counter area) Much, much better than other brands that use cushioned feet that eventually fall off. Highly recommend.

At last -- a strainer that will not tip over in the sink when you fill it to the brim!
