It is smaller than I imagined and I thought the handle would come off, makes it harder to store. Just have to do small batches and be creative.

On the surface this item looked like it was exactly what I wanted but it was not engineered well. It is made from many different pieces and there are many places that catch food making it very difficult to clean. I returned it for the Wearever aluminum model which is one piece.

I purchased this item with the intention of using it to make homemade applesauce, and it was everything I wanted, and then some. My grandmother has one, of course MUCH older, but this one looked almost exactly like it. Durable, clean looking, and perfect. I couldn't imagine making applesauce without it!

It works pretty good. I wanted it to be wider and longer,cause I am canning tomato juice, but other than a few seeds(which always happens) it works good.
