Pros:
-Easy to clean. Compare to metal strainers, you will save a lot of time.
-No protruding wires to poke your fingers.
-It occupies less space because it is collapsible
-Able to stand high heat. We always use it with pasta in boiling water.
Cons:
-Expensive

The strainer is easy to clean and seems sturdy enough. The long handle makes it easy to hang it across the sink or pans.

We absolutely love this product. It's beautiful in appearance, handy to use, quickly collapse and store even in a shallow drawer, and easy to clean -- just throw it in the dishwasher. The design is very sophisticated and functional. We've given a few as a gift for "someone who already has everything."
