Designed by provocative chef Gordon Ramsay, the Royal Doulton colander is an ideal receptacle for rinsing fresh picked berries or for straining hot pasta. Equipped with a durable tri-ply design, the colander's construction thwarts dents and corrosion for years of use. The colander features nonporous, 18/10 stainless-steel construction on its exterior and interior. For an attractive veneer, Royal Doulton brushed the exterior steel layer. Between the two layers o f stainless steel lays a heavy-duty aluminum core. A wide brim serves as the colander's handles, but also enables the colander to double as a pasta or steamer insert by resting the brim on top of a pot's rim. A hanging hole in the brim facilitates hanging storage. The colander sustains temperatures up to 500 degrees F.
