I don't recall the product description but just to be clear, this is a plastic spoon rest. It is lightweight. I used to put my spoon rests on the stovetop but I'm really not sure if this will melt so I place it on the counter (which is probably safer anyways).
Overall, a good purchase though...hasn't cracked or melted from hot utensils yet.

The picture presents itself to be smaller than it really is. Otherwise, it does what it's supposed to, it's useful, and easy to clean.

With the hole in the handle hung on a hook above the stove so it is always handy. Cleans easily and always looks nice.
