Product Description Rosle Ice Cream Scoop - 12741. Fine Rim Makes Scooping Ice Cream Easy. Convenient Hanging Ring. 18.10 Stainless Steel Finish
Amazon.com Review One of Rösle's superb kitchen tools, this 8-inch ice-cream scoop has fine edges on its 2-1/4-inch-long head to cleanly cut into the hardest ice cream or sherbet and create uniformly shaped scoops in one motion. Like all Rösle tools, utensils, and Open Kitchen storage components, this scoop is made of 18/10 stainless steel for rustproof beauty and long-lasting durability. The round handle has a satin finish to conceal finger marks. The handle is sealed against water and has a hanging ring so the scoop can be conveniently stored on a hook in the Open Kitchen system of Rösle basic rails and Gridwalls or hung on any hook or peg. The scoop is sturdy, balanced, and exceptionally comfortable in the hand. All Rösle products are made in Germany, are dishwasher-safe, and carry a lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Not made in Germany July 28, 2008 Joan (Cleveland, Ohio) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Received two ice cream scoops (one is to be a gift) and they both had stickers on them that stated "Made In China" so someone better change the description of this item. Had I known that I would not have made the purchase.
BUY 2...this is THEEEE SCOOP! January 7, 2008 Christine Thalheim (Upper Makefield, Pa., United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I will NEVER own any other kind of scoop again. NEVER. Works WELL and feels great/good in hand.
Great design, beautifully uniform scoops December 14, 2004 K. Kasabian (Silicon Valley, CA) 18 out of 18 found this review helpful
After too many bent spoons to count, we broke down and bought this scoop. Its engineering has exceeded my expectations on a couple of fronts: First, the scoop itself has very thin (but strong) edges that slice easily into even hard ice creams with less effort than other scoops I've tried. Second, the shape of the scoop does indeed produce beautifully round spheres of your favorite frozen dessert...ideal for anyone who values presentation and function.
Annoying inconsistency October 8, 2003 Swim Good (CA United States) 17 out of 34 found this review helpful
Th product features and editorial review spell Germany as the origin of manufacture. But the one I got was made in China.

This ice cream scoop is the best! It feels great in your hand and forms perfectly shaped scoops. This is a perfect gift for any ice cream lover. Rosle makes incredible tools for all uses...I can't wait to acquire more tools for my kitchen.
