Product Description 1874426030 Mini Ball Whisk
Amazon.com Review A whisk this size comes in handy for beating a single egg or stirring a small pan of sauce. Measuring 8-1/4 inches in length and made completely of polished 18/10 stainless steel, the whisk features a halo of mini-balls surrounding one larger ball, all of which move independently on flexible wires. A loop on the end of the cylindrical handle allows the whisk to be hung where it's convenient. Moreover, the whisk is dishwasher-safe. WMF is known for collaborating with leading European designers to create innovative products for the modern home. --Ann Bieri

Neat idea but not without flaws October 29, 2008 *~ Sunshine ~* (Beautiful Iowa, the place to grow.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I picked a few of these up in different sizes as I thought they were the neatest things when I saw them. They are useful when stirring things like puddings and sauces on the stove while heating. They get into the corners as described and are flexible yet firm. The problem I've had with them is that they are top heavy and will fall out onto the counter or floor if you aren't careful, making quite a mess. You may think of this as my "user error" but it's an easy oversight when you've been used to leaning your whisk, spoon, or spatula against the side of your pot or bowl in the past and having it remain there. The fact that this is entirely stainless is a plus in my book as you can wash it in the dishwasher without worry, but, on the other hand, it will tend to get very hot if you use it while cooking. I've not gotten rid of my other whisks, as some other reviewers stated they had, but I do pull this one out when I'm cooking things like puddings, sauces, or candy on the stove. Also, those little metal balls do make odd noises when they scrape along the bottoms of the pans. The metal to metal sounds rather like fingernails on a chalkboard at times. You can overlook it for the improved performance if you're not too sensitive. I noticed that WMF has come out with some different, less-expensive models with silicone beads and what looks like composite or plastic handles. This could resolve the weight and heat problems that this one has, though I've not used the newer version.
Get one! September 2, 2008 skoskie (Wichita, KS) I bought this at my wife's request and love it. I don't cook, I do clean. Cleaning this thing is soooo much easier than the typical wisk- that alone is worth the price. My wife states that it does a better job and is much faster too. So, five stars!
A great drink mixer March 29, 2008 J. Ramsey (NW PA USA) I wanted something small to mix my morning coffee/cocoa/creamer/sweetener/flavor concoction because I can't find the tiny whisks in the store anymore. When I got this it seemed a bit too large but I was anxious to try it. I quickly discovered that if I put it in my mug (it just fits) and spin it between my palms, it mixes the drink without spraying stuff all over the table. I can also move it enough to stir around with it in the mug. I love it now and use it every time I make my favorite drink.
Talk about useful December 8, 2007 L. Cloninger (Warrensburg, MO) Earlier, my wife had purchased a larger whisk of this style and loved it. She felt that this smaller version would also be very useful at times. She likes both whisks and uses them frequently. Our friends and neighbors have also heard how well these work and clean.
great product December 3, 2007 Daniel F. Blake best wisk I ever used. Inovative design makes it easy to use and easy to clean.
