Although this crock and utensil set is designed to color-coordinate with Le Creuset cookware, the superb quality and choice of colors makes this a great gift for any cook, regardless of his or her cookware brand. The one-quart ceramic crock sits sturdily on the countertop and shows an attractive glaze pattern that fades from dark at the bottom to light at the flared top. Included are six tools with high-heat-resistant silicone heads that won't scratch nonstick pans and remove from the wooden handles for dishwasher cleaning. An excellent multipurpose set for scraping, mixing, serving, and basting, the utensils include a basting brush and five spatulas: mini, small, medium, large spoon-shaped, and jumbo slotted spoon-shaped. This 7-piece utensil set with enameled stoneware crock is a perfect housewarming gift or a great starter investment for students heading off to college. To be honest, I mostly wanted the set for the utensil crock, as I have searched unsuccessfully for one large enough and sturdy enough to hold my everyday whisks and spatulas, and the Le Creuset stoneware crock is large enough to double as a makeshift vase or wine cooler (the stoneware cools down quickly) in a pinch. The utensils are extraordinarily handy, particularly if you're always having to hunt for a spatula (or can't find one that's the right size). They're perfect for nonstick cookware, and withstand up to 800-degree heat. The silicone heads are detachable for (fairly) easy cleaning. The only thing that would have made this set perfect was the inclusion of a silicone whisk, a necessity for stirring sauces and liquid ingredients in nonstick saucepans. Otherwise, this is a great value, and you're sure to get years of use from the included spatulas.

Great spatulas, good for high temps, easy to clean! My only advice is make sure u seperate the plastic from the wood when u wash it cuz if u leave the plastic part on the water will get into the crack and rot the wood.
