The product information doesn't mention an important point: This ladle holds a fair amount--especially for a for a ladle made of silicone. One scoop of soup, if it's broth-like, will measure about one-third cup. For a chunky sauce, it will hold almost half a cup.

This cleans well, using a food-grade degreaser such as Simple Green, or full-strength dish detergent. The ladle (but not the handle) can also go into the dishwasher, top shelf. The bamboo handle comes off and for some reason, it doesn't stain easily. However, I take the ladle out of the pot between uses. The bamboo has a nice feel to it, too--a lot smoother than the wooden handles on Le Creuset utensils.

My Silicone Zone utensils with bamboo handles--I have three--are among the best-used in our kitchen, so they have earned a place in the (Le Creuset) utensil holder next to the stovetop. They see more use than the Le Creuset spoonula and spatulas do, and those were more expensive. Their only down side is that they are chunky, meaning they would take a fair amount of space in a kitchen drawer. If you have room on the counter for a utensil holder near your stovetop, you may well be very happy with this line.
