This is one spatula you won't find melted up against the side of the stove. Heat resistant to 500 degrees F, it's crafted from a sturdy silicone that won't scratch or scrape nonstick cooking surfaces. The 7-1/2-inch handle allows you to get a good grip, while an elongated, flexible blade makes it easy to scrape the last drop of batter from the flat bottom and deep sides of a typical mixing bowl. (Whatever you do, don't tell the kids you'll be using it; they might just go on strike.) The KitchenAid logo even doubles as a rest, so you can place the spatula up against the rim of a bowl without it sliding into the goo. --Mary Park

I purchased this a while back and waited patiently for months to get it because it was on backorder. Spatulas are probably one of my most used items in the kitchen because I bake so much. This one is a winner. It goes great with my Kitchenaid Pro 600 mixer. The long handle gets to the bottom of the huge bowl easily. The only thing that might knock it down a half star is that the handle leaks water. I stopped putting it in the dishwasher and it never leaks now, but just something to think about. I like the feel of the kinda weighted handle on it though. Worth the wait for me!

This is a good quality spatula! It's nice and durable, with a strong scraper - it gets everything you're trying to scrape from the side of the bowl. The handle has a good grip to it and doesn't flex or bend, which makes it easy to hold.

This is the perfect tool to go along with my new KitchenAid Classic mixer. It's shaped to fit nicely against the side of the mixing bowl and makes short work of any necessary scraping down of the sides. It's heavy duty and washes in the dishwasher.

If you are like me, you have gone through so many kinds of spatulas--cheap and expensive. I then tried the KitchenAid brand, and knew that it was the only one that I would ever use again. It gets batter out of mixing bowls better than any, which is important when getting enough out for that last cookie or filling the pan for the pumpkin bread just right. The clean-up on these is so quick and easy. If you buy another, you are wasting your money.

The KitchenAid Silicone Mixer Spatula is wonderful. It fits perfectly with the KitchenAid Mixing bowl..I've used other spatulas and they were too short..It made scraping the bowl a chore..With this spatula baking is a breeze...I'm very satisfied.
