The carafe is exactly as pictured. It is just what it is supposed to be....and it arrived on schedule! I'm completely satisfied.

This carafe is made out of glass that is way too thin. It is more like crystal than glass, and any minor bump will leave you with a broken carafe. I will replace this Krups coffee maker next time a carafe breaks, or the maker itself breaks. I expected higher quality from Krups.

I broke my Krups carafe, after several years of use. I was perfectly satisfied with my Krups coffeemaker and wanted to replace the carafe. This is the exact carafe and did the job marvelously. I paid $16 or $17 for it, which seemed a little pricey. Ironically my coffeemaker died about two months after I purchased the new carafe. I have since purchased a french pressFrieling Stainless-Steel 35-Ounce French Press and am now enjoying the BEST COFFEE I have EVER HAD. And for about half the price I paid for the Krups coffeemaker. Easier to clean too.

This Krups carafe matched the exact one from my machine. It arrived safely, nicely packed and quickly. When you break a carafe and need a replacement - speed is of the essence. The price was also the best on the internet and for this replacement there was a variation of over $10 from different retailers. Thanks Amazon!
