This pan is not only beautiful, it bakes like a dream. All the cakes I've baked in it have turned out beautifully. So easy to use and clean too!

This is a gorgeous pan and cake comes out easily. The BIG drawback is that because of this pan's size, cake tends to overcook on the edges before the center is done. So you end up with very dry dry edges if you want the cake fully cooked. Not so gorgeous....

This design is one of the first floral pans Nordic Ware created. With very little effort it looks like great effort is taken. Perfect for use during Spring and Easter. It looks particularly nice made with a yellow cake with the center portion covered with chocolate icing with large chocolate chips (representing the sunflower seeds) pressed into the frosted middle. Pan preparation is the most important step so take a few minutes and do it right. Spray liberally with a cooking spray that contains flour like Bakers Joy then turn the pan upside down on a paper towel to drain out the excess. The another vital step is, once the cake is finished baking, let it cool upright in the pan 10-15 minutes (no shorter or longer) before turning the cake out onto a plate. Lastly, if you want the detail to really pop, use a light cake (yellow, white, spice, etc.) with a very thick batter -- there are many bundt cake recipes on the internet. If you use a cake mix without altering it for the bundt pan, some detail will be lost - so check for cake mix adaptations on the internet.

This high-quality pan is worth its price. It is beautiful enough to display; it molds perfect cakes. Any ordinary bundt recipe turns extraordinary. For smaller servings, you may wish to consider the mini bundt or muffin pans by Nordicware.
