Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Review
With its soft, flowing lines, this candlestick holder in Villeroy & Boch's New Wave collection captures the essence of the ocean and is a wonderful accent when placed on the edge of a sunken tub, in front of a huge picture window, or any place that is meant to invoke serenity. The holder is rectangular in shape and, from an overhead view, seems to sway back and forth with its reverse "S" shape. From a side view, the holder curves under at one end and curls up at the other, giving the illusion of motion and imitating the ebb and flow of a rolling wave. The higher end rests about an inch off of the ground and is fitted with a hole big enough for a single taper candle. Its simple, off-white color blends with any décor; however, the fluid style probably looks most appropriate in a more modern or organic setting. This candleholder is made of strong and durable vitrified porcelain, which is dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning. Imported from Germany, this candleholder complements a whole series of tableware and household accents in the New Wave pattern. --Cristina Vaamonde
