Great Deal! December 29, 2008 K. Harrison (Atlanta, GA) With the free shipping deal, this knife block was a steal and came in record time!
Exactly what I expected September 29, 2008 John C. Thomas (Saint Paul, MN USA) After visiting several kitchen stores and big box department stores that apparently don't carry more than one knife block, I finally found one that holds all of my knives! The block does exactly what I expected it to do - hold a lot of knives.
All my knives in one beautiful storage block! September 22, 2008 Lefty (Colorado) This block completed a great set of knives. It brings all of my knives in to one block versus two and cleans up the counter. The usual great service and quality product from Henckels and Amazon.
Bad mix of slots, wasted space August 25, 2008 James Coursey (San Francisco, CA United States) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
After reading all the good reviews and looking at the picture, I thought this would be a great choice for me. Unfortunately, the block only fit two of my larger knives, leaving 4 big knives without a home. Maybe if there were room for 4 or 5 larger knives I would have made due and gotten rid of a redundant knife or two, but as it was, this block is useless. Strangely, there was enough room on the rightmost column of slots that the slots could have been made sufficiently wide for my needs. For whatever reason, they didn't design it for my selection of knives. Oh well. All that said, it seemed like a nice enough block otherwise.
Knifeblock August 15, 2008 M. L. Ferguson (VA) The knifeblock is perfect for all my knives and looks great on the kitchen counter. I am pleased with this purchase from Amazon.
