Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Review A pencil-thin line of red attractively defines the fluted rim of this Petite Fleur butter dish base, which features gentle ridges and indentations that create a flower effect. The simple china dish can be used for serving a European-size block of butter or as a tray for bonbons or after-dinner mints. A matching lid is available separately. Petite Fleur means little flower in French, and most of the Villeroy & Boch pattern is just that: a sprinkling of delicate blossoms on a milk-white background. This unadorned white dish makes a nice accompaniment. Imported from Luxembourg and Germany, Petite Fleur dinnerware is vitrified for durable everyday use, and is safe for dishwasher and microwave. --Ann Bieri
