Designed to evoke the charm of a French garden, the Fleurence pattern from Villeroy & Boch captures the relaxed contentment found in the French countryside. Clusters of fruit and cherry blossoms, laurel leaf rings in deep green, and bands of soft country yellow and pale celadon all combine to bring the airy garden feel inside. Subtle ridges, textured layers, and other sculptural elements add a touch of sophistication, enabling the collection to be used daily or for special occasions. A wonderful addition to the kitchen, this 2-quart enamel colander is perfect for draining pasta, washing greens, or displaying fruit. Lemons, cherries, plums, and apples decorate the outer bowl, while a band of soft country yellow, and a ring of laurel leaves, encircle the bowl and pedestal base. Standing 11 inches in diameter, including the handles, and 5-1/4 inches tall, this colander will not take up too much space in the cupboard. I expected this Colander to be of top quality!
Wow was I wrong!
This comes from China, it didn't sit stright, it wobble on the counter.
The pattern wasn't even put on even! I do think it has that good looking Villeroy & Boch pattern.
I did plan on useing this, but it was smaller then what I thought, and not very practical, but not sitting stright,and the pattern was uneven, I did return this.
Maybe nobody else would notice that, if you just wanted to put in some apples, or bannans! but I thought it look cheap.
I was very disapointed, I expected more from Villeroy & Boch.
