Amazon.com Review Let the cheerful humming of this Napoli pattern whistling teakettle tell you that it's time to pour your tea or hot cocoa. Inspired by the romance of the coast of Italy, this lovely piece features hand-painted flowers on a soft yellow body with lavender trim. The lid hosts a charming leafy vine, while a deep rose hue brings together the kettle's heat-resistant handle, easy-to-pour spout, and comfortable finial. The 2-1/2-quart enameled steel kettle heats quickly and is generously sized to pour several mugs worth of hot water--it's also pretty enough to keep out on display between cups of tea. This kettle is best washed by hand to preserve its soft colors and is covered by Pflatzgraff's five-year warranty. --Kara Karll

Nice Looking, a little Small? January 2, 2008 Eddie Wannabee (Western Hemisphere) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The looks get 4 Stars. The design, the colors, the handles. It is a sturdy Tea Kettle, that is for sure. Makes a particular noise when water is boiled. Not recommended for use in High Heat, somewhere between a 5-6 on the dial, sometimes a 4. If this Tea Kettle would have more capacity I would really love it for it is pretty cool looking. 4 Well Deserved Stars!
Mr. Shchigol December 21, 2007 Leonid Shchigol (USA New York) Greate product and it's similar to the other products of Pfaltzgraff Napoli Thanks, Leon
Cute, but broke December 4, 2007 D. Fisher (Washington, DC USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This kettle arrived and seemed perfectly fine, it looked exactly like it did in the picture and boiled water with no problems. However, the whistle is decidedly creepy; it sounds like a ghostly train approaching from a distance. Also, the handle is on hinges and often made me nervous pouring the tea (nothing ever happened). However, I was forced to get rid of the teapot when the enamel on the bottom started coming off in flakes and getting all over the stove. I had only owned the teapot for about three months, if that.
Great Tea Kettle!! September 24, 2007 Courtney (Kentucky) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Love this tea kettle!! I got it last Christmas and have used it almost every day since. Besides being beautiful, it heats the water very quickly and has stood up to the test of time. I do like the whistle, but I doubt everyone would. If you're a tea person, this is definitely worth the money!

I have had this tea pot for two years, it is fantastic and boils the water quickly. The only complaint is the whistle is unique and even after two years I forget that it is the tea kettle. But if you hate that loud screeching sound you get from other tea pots....
