It's bright, cheery, easy to grab, easy to clean. It stays where I put it, and it lets me cut things.

The only complaint that I have is that it's a bit hard. I'm worried that it's blunting my knives, and occasionally the knife skitters across the surface, rather than cutting into it a bit.
Personally I'd rather replace my cutting boards every now and then, than my knives.

That said, this is the cutting board I reach for first.
