 Warped and marginal non-stick properties March 9, 2008

Within a year the pan warped over half-inch so it wouldn't lay flat on ceramic stove. Also lost non-stick properties. Pan was never overheated and always hand-washed. Hopefully just rare defects, but I've sent it back to Caphalon under lifetime warranty provisions. We'll see.

Pots and pans is more of a personal choice... but I found these work great. I have used them for a few months now and they still look brand new. I have a gas stove top and you can't see any burn marks, etc.
Non-stick works perfect - easy clean up every time. I like the added bonus of the grips on the handles as you can hold them and feel virtually no heat while they are on the stove.
Heat distribution seems to be fine.
I only wash them by hand, I have not tried to put them in the dishwasher as I am afraid it will damage them, besides, clean up is so easy, you can be done with it in no time.
