Overall I think this product was a great deal. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I didn't have any problems with broken items. Everything arrived well packaged - though the china was quite dusty.
The set does appear to be bone china - you can see your hand from behind the plate when it is held up to the light. I didn't find the set to be as nice as some of the other reviewers, but it is definitely a good value.

I absolutely love this Godinger Dinnerware set. It's PURE WHITE china which I searched everywhere for, at an amazingly low price. Just beautiful !!!! It looks High End quality which I wanted and not flimsy. It arrived in a couple of days and nothing was broken .I was so afraid some might be broken only because of some reviews that I had read.I was also very pleased with the packaging. I will be happy to shop @ Amazon again .
