This unique World Cuisine Silicone Skid-Resistant Counter Pastry Mat is composed of fiberglass and is coated on both sides with non-stick silicone, allowing for dough to be rolled out effortlessly. Ideal for kneading, beating and rolling dough or working with sugar and chocolate. When rolling out dough on the top surface there is no need to sprinkle the mat with flour. The inverse side is skid resistant and secures itself to any working surface. The mat can withstand extreme temperatures ranges, however, it is not a designed to be a baking mat and should never be folded or cut in order to fit in the oven. Its primary purpose is to provide a large surface for rolling out dough.
