Nice but...August 3, 2008 Beaux(Linn Creek, MO) This product does not have to be this expensive. You already pay upwords of $90 dollars for the actual coffee maker. I like pouring coffee out of this carafe because it does not leak at the lip, however, you can never get all the liquid out because of the nature of the lid underneath. It has some channel designing that captures the liquid not allowing full emptying. Annoying especially when you are cleaning it. Also, it took a while to locate a replacement. I could find it at Amazon for the lowest price. The white carafe is actually what I needed but could not find anyone who had it in stock. Fortunately, the empire red worked out with my kitchen and does not look too tacky against the white coffee maker.
