Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Product Description
The Coleman Cable 02469 14/3 SJTW 100-foot hi-visibility/low-temperature outdoor extension cord is a 3-conductor 14-gauge cord. It is UL listed and meets OSHA requirements for outdoor use and features a high-visibility fluorescent blue color. The cord is also designed to remain flexible temperatures as low as -45 degrees Fahrenheit, and the light at its female end indicates that there's power to the end of the cord. This cord's reinforced blades help prevent accidental bending or breaking, and heavy-duty strain relief protects electrical connections for longer cord life.

5 out of 5 stars Power Cord Review   August 24, 2008
Paul Arvin (Sitka, AK USA)
The cored is better than I had hoped for. It is slimmer, powers my mower better then old cords. I definitely would buy tghis product again, if needed.

4 out of 5 stars Fine, not quite as flexible as another winter cable I used   March 24, 2008

Cable is fine, just not quite as flexible as another winter cable I used (Husky brand...might only be available in Canada).

5 out of 5 stars Good cord for cold weather   February 19, 2008
B. Burke (Ballwin, MO)
I bought this cord to go with an electric snow thrower. It remained pliable during use in cold weather. I'm very happy with it.

1 out of 5 stars Cord lasted one year   February 7, 2008

I used this cord all last year.

Last night while snowblowing, the receptacle on the end of the cord melted and started a fire.

I would not recommend this cord.

5 out of 5 stars Great Value   January 14, 2008

Similar wires sell for much more at local hardware stores, so for $40 this is a great value. I did not notice an increase in power compared to when I was using my other lower quality wires, however it does do much better in low temperature. Overall, an excellent buy.
