    Amazon.com Review
As any gardener knows, even the best-laid plans for spending a day with the soil can be ruined by the necessity for repeated trips to the house or shed for the proper equipment. With the Step 2 Garden Hopper, however, it's possible to pack everything you need for a full day's gardening and take it all wherever you go. The Garden Hopper features an extremely sturdy seat that's just high enough to offer a comfortable perch yet low enough to keep you close to your garden. While a molded carrying handle is included within the seat itself, the Hopper's 7-inch wheels make it simple to scoot about without rising. With its sturdy double-wall construction, the Garden Hopper is strong enough to take a lot of rugged treatment. Beneath the seat is a large storage space, perfect for holding your gloves, tools, seeds, cellular phone, and other accessories you may need. In addition, this handy garden helper includes a built-in holder for a 12-ounce beverage, eliminating the need to run back into the house for refreshment. The Garden Hopper measures about 14 inches tall, 12.5 inches wide, and about 22 inches long. --Benjamin Reese

    5 out of 5 stars Just what I needed!   June 29, 2008
    Elizabeth A. Korts (Austin, TX)
This garden stool is perfect for me to do weeding, planting, and trimming. I have reached an age where getting up and down to do those activities has gotten difficult, and with the use of this "just the right height" stool, I can now do them easily. It is well made and I believe will last a long, long time. It was just as described, and I am completely satisfied with the purchase.

I am happy with the stool except I would like to have the storage compartment air tight so I could leave all my tools in it and store it outdoors.

5 out of 5 stars Very sturdy   June 15, 2008

I appreciate that this reasonably priced garden seat can support my extreme overweight, and allow me to roll to the next plant as well.

3 out of 5 stars Does the job--keeps my knees out of the dirt....   June 9, 2008
Cheyenne Ann (CHEYENNE, WY United States)
I have a hard time kneeling in the dirt for extended time periods. Hard to get old, I guess. My mom had one of the little garden stools years ago. Don't know what happened to it, so I got this one. It does keep my knees off out of the dirt, but I was disappointed in a couple of things.

It works great when weeding in grassy areas, but the tires just don't get traction on cement. I have a couple of flower beds in my front yard, where we have sidewalks. Can't use this thing there, as the cart just takes off from under me when it's on concrete. This happens when I lean forward. So this has become my backyard stool.

It's easy for your handtools to fall out of the storage compartment. It's shallow, so my trimmers won't stay in it when I pick up the stool. Also, the seat doesn't lift up to place utensils in the compartment, so you have to put them in from the side, and that's just a tad awkward.

On the positive side, the stool is lightweight--easy to move. It's like a lttle Tikes toy, cute.
