Amazon.com Review Kneel, sit, or stand on this multifunctional piece of gardening equipment. Sixteen inches high with a top measuring 20 by 10-1/2 inches, this kneeler seat serves many purposes in the garden or in the home. It works great as a step stool in your laundry room or basement. When you're not using the seat for gardening tasks, you can turn it over and kneel on the pad underneath, or take the pad out of the seat altogether for even more convenience. The 3/4-inch-thick foam pad is textured and attaches to the bottom of the seat with two Velcro strips. The all-weather tan body is constructed of sturdy, rugged plastic, and there's an oval carrying hole in the top of the forest green seat. --Rhonda Langdon

Overall good construction August 8, 2008 D. Burns 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Kneeling pad not attached very well, uses 2 small pieces of velcro that have already come unglued from the seat, otherwise good quality garden product, also works well as shower seat for much cheaper than dedicated shower chairs
She couldn't do without it June 12, 2008 Jill Taylor My mother lives for gardening, and is out playing in the dirt as soon as the weather allows. She'll be turning 90 on her birthday in October, so this kneeler has been an enormous assist to her, not only in kneeling, but as a bench. She's been using it for a month (ever since Mother's Day) and wishes it had come along sooner in her life.
If you garden and don't want a sore back or knees May 21, 2008 Laura P. Koser Excellent product for the gardener who wants a easy to use, adaptable bench/kneeler. Highly recommend.
Excellent stool April 4, 2008 Barbara Meyer (Urbana, IL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is an excellent stool for gardening. It's sturdy and comfortable, with rounded corner, and lightweight enough to easily carry from place to place. The kneeler aspect is a little more problematical, though it may be I'm just not used to it. The thing is, that with the thickness of the pad, plus the framework, it raises your knees 2 -3 inches above ground level. As a result, when you're working on level ground, you end up having to tilt your body forward and downward a bit. I have a bad back and this feels strange to me. I haven't used it much in actual gardening yet, so maybe I'll adjust to this odd posture. I notice no other reviewers have mentioned this though, and admittedly, it would be an issue with any kneeler I guess. That said, it's comfortable and wide enough for even a large bodied person, though be aware it's going to take a bit of arm strength to rise from a kneeling position. Regardless, I do recommend this item and can see how it may be useful for a variety of household chores.
easy Gardening June 11, 2007 Kathleen Polomik Hinkle (Columbus, Ohio) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
So far, I have only been using the kneeling part of this bench. The kneeling pad is adequately thick and the sides are sturdy for pushing up your body. They do not get in the way of your arms when gardening. The bench is lightweight and the carrying handle is easy to grip. Wish I had it years ago!
