Ordered as a wedding gift and quite a surprise to open it an find that the main section was broken in numerous pieces. Fed Ex must have air dropped it without the chute. Although I imagine amazon will make the transaction right.

The first chiminea arrived and it looked like the box had rolled down a hill and/or bounced off the truck(several times). We immediately contacted Amazon about it and the fact that one section was broken in several pieces. Being it's cast iron they must've dropped it good to do that. Regardless,Amazon dealt with the problem right then and UPS showed up bright and early the next morning and retrieved the package. A brand new(unbroken)replacement chiminea arrived within a few short days.
It's a beautiful addition to our outdoor living space and I can see ourselves spending more time out on the patio now. I love the fact that it's cast iron, it should last quite some time.
If you have a lot of twigs and sticks in your yard it's a great way to get rid of them, guys, your wives will have that yard picked up ready for mowing in no time.

Ordered online last Xmas and finally got around to opening it this weekend. I was dismayed to see that the top half of the 'bulb' had literally cracked in half.
