The Precision Products TBS4500PRCGY semi-commercial tow-behind broadcast spreader allows for quick and easy spreading while towing behind most any tractor or other vehicle with its universal hitch and hitch pin. Its generous-sized hopper (2,400 cubic inches, supporting 100 pounds) should be ample for nearly any project. A fingertip cable control can be easily reached while sitting on the tractor, allowing for quick and easy adjustments to the spreading pattern, which adjusts from 10- to 12-feet wide for quick distribution. The spreader is constructed with a 7/8-inch powder-coated steel tube frame, a heavy-duty plastic hopper with a wrap-around support for additional strength, and metal gears with grease fittings for durability and reduced maintenance. Two 10-inch pneumatic tires with steel wheels provide ease of movement over many different terrains and in even difficult conditions. A handy rain cover is provided for spreading in inclement weather conditions. Unit was shipped in a cardboard box, much larger then the unit. Banging during shipment, the body arrived cracked, and the bag with the small parts and screws lost most of its content.

Works OK. Easy to assemble and works well. One BIG problem is setting control which does not firmly hold setting. Very easy to inadvertently change the application rate in the process of turning on.

This spreader is the worst product I have ever purchased. From anywhere.
The directions were mis-leading and incomplete.
The unit does not spread correctly after 2/3 rds of the product is dispersed as the agitator is only about 2 inches long--they use a cotter key on the shaft!!
The control is so filmsy that it broke on the first application. To fix it you have to have it so it is no longer adjustable and adjust the thing manually for each spreading operation.
It is ALL plastic even the gears housings.
Do not purchase this product or any of the same companies similar spreaders. You will hate your self if you do!!!
