Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Product Description
The Toro 32-inch bypass lopper is designed to pull up to a 2-inch diameter branch into the cut. The tough drop-forged sword steel blade and anvil are extra strong and have a deep sap groove. The 26-inch handles are made from aircraft alloy aluminum with TPR (thermo plastic rubber) rubberized non-slip grips that make them lightweight and have excellent balance. These loppers also have a polyurethane cushion bumper which helps alleviate impact on hands, wrists, elbows and shoulders. The lopper also has patented center oiler bolt technology for ease of maintenance of the tool, allowing for continuous lubrication during operation.

4 out of 5 stars Lightweight, Quality Product   September 20, 2007
J. Metcalfe
Lightweight product with aluminum handles that bolt on. This ends the problem of handles that fall off after extended use with some other lopping shears. Seems to have quality construction and is very easy to use. Could not pass up the price complete with the fast [...] shipping.

5 out of 5 stars Another good review for the 32-inch loppers   August 13, 2007

I agree with the other reviewers - this is a very nice pair of loppers, and worth far more than the price charged by Amazon. Nothing I've seen in the local big-box stores comes close in terms of quality at the under $20 price point. You would easily have to spend more than three times as much to get better tool. Cuts very well, nice balance, and very lightweight. Very pleased with the purchase and the excellent service (as usual) from Amazon.

5 out of 5 stars Deserves six stars.   July 16, 2007

These are absolutely awesome garden tools and the price -- low $20s -- is amazing. I used these to trim most of my yard. They are super powerful. The cutting action is smooth and decisive. They are not happy lopping away at things that are an inch thick, but they work very well as described. At the price, you are missing out if you don't have these in your shed.

5 out of 5 stars Great Tool   July 3, 2007
Elliott Block (BOCA RATON, FL USA)
This is just the tool I needed to reach small limbs, etc without a ladder or on a ladder to get those limbs that were still out of reach before. The leverage with the loppers makes cutting the limbs easy.
