I loved the heart-shaped windchime, and will order another to replace this one. Metal had a dingy appearance, not attractive at all. Also, one of the crystals was badly chipped and had to remove it from the chime, which made it unbalanced; additionally, the crystals were lackluster.
The heart-shaped windchime had a pretty red color to the metal that really caught the light, and the crystals were brilliant.

This is both larger and lovelier than I was expecting from the picture. It hangs more than 2 1/2 feet long (32 inches from top hook to bottom crystal), which is much larger than I thought. Because of the design, all but the most ferocious winds go through it, so its tone is always light tinkling rather than deafening clamor. Makes a very pleasant addition to a sunny west-facing window in my house.
