The Precision Products TBS4300RDGY tow-behind step up broadcast spreader allows for quick and easy spreading while towing behind most any tractor or other vehicle with its universal hitch and hitching pin. Its generous hopper size (2,200 cubic inches or up to 75 pounds) is enough for most all home uses. A fingertip cable control can be easily reached while sitting on the tractor, allowing for quick and easy adjustments to the spread pattern, which can be adjusted from 10- to 12-feet wide for even, efficient coverage. The spreader is constructed with a 7/8-inch powder-coated steel tube frame, a heavy-duty plastic hopper, and self-lubricating nylon gears for durability and reduced maintenance. Two 10-inch high-strength plastic wheels provide ease of movement over many different terrains and in even difficult conditions. Great price for barebones tow-behind spreader and does a great job. MADE IN THE USA! For heavy use you would need something more but for the two or three times a year I'll use it, it's just what I needed.
 OK, but parts missing February 21, 2008

Received the product to find one part pushed out bare through side of box. Once I opened box I found two further holes and 2 parts that were missing. Called the number and they said parts would be overnighted..I am waiting to see. Product looks reasonable but I don't know if it will last that long. If I do not receive parts wihin a day I will return it. Did receive parts and was able to put together. Looks ok and seems to work.
