MIU France 7-piece stainless steel measuring cup set, item # 91688. Beautiful and practical, these measuring cups will not rust, stain or corrode. The stainless steel measuring cups will hold up to many years of usage. This makes them great for everyday use. They can be used to measure dry or wet ingredients. This is an excellent tool for recipes which require exact measurements. Each set comes with 1/8 cup, 1/4 cup, 1/3 cup, 1/2 cup, 2/3 cup, 3/4 cup and 1 cup. Each measuring cup has a high shine polished exterior with a brushed finish interior. The handles have a slight curve to them which allows the thumb to rest comfortably while in use. Each handle is spot welded at three points for extra stability. All cups have a hole in the handle to be hanged from a hook or pot rack. All seven pieces nest together for storage. This 7-piece set makes a great gift for family or friends. Dishwasher safe.

Measuring cups that will outlast me August 22, 2008

I debated with buying these cups for WEEKS! Simply because they are so expensive. I kept telling myself,"I'll just get buy with my old kitchen-aid plastic ones" Then one morning I don't know what came over me, I jumped online opened up my shopping cart and purchased them. I had to wait a little while to get them, but when they arrived....I was in love at first sight! Before I even opened the package I could tell these were the ones I have been looking for, the sheer weight of the package said alot about these cups. I opened it up, and the dazzling sight of stainless steel hit my eyes. These measuring cups are VERY sturdy, very well built, and ingredients fall out nicely. The handles don't bend when you pack brown sugar! The long handles also give you something to hold onto, you feel like your holding onto something substantial. The variety of sizes is a great help, like the 1/8 c. and the 3/4 c. odd sizes that I didn't have before have been a HUGE help in the kitchen. Also, a bonus for those of you who have hard water, they DON'T rust! The price may seem high, it was for me at first, I don't have alot of money, but these measuring cups are SOOOO worth the price! They will last a lifetime, and them some. Forget all the little bargain plastic, silicone, and supposed stainless steel measuring cups. These are the best! Buy something that will last lifetimes, instead of replacing your measuring cups several times, in your lifetime. Don't pass these up for the cheap ones! I almost did, and I am glad I didn't.

These are very well made, and I love the long handles. They are polished on the outside, and you can tell that it's very high quality stainless steel, without being too thick and heavy like the All-Clad or Cuisipro brands of measuring cups. My only complaint is that they are not labeled with metric measurements, which I occasionally use. But otherwise, a wonderful set! Would buy this again.

heavy and substantial, will probably last a lifetime. my only criticism is that where the handle meets the cup, there is a gap that will let gunk build up. but a run in the dishwasher should take care of that. all in all well worth the expense.

A person is hard pressed to find a sturdy measuring cup set that comes with anything but the standard 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and 1 cup measurements. Finally it dawnwd on me to search on Amazon (duh!) and I found this great set! They are well made, nest almost flat in the drawer, clean up easily, and have all the other measurement sizes that just make cooking a little faster and easier.
