Not for Food Programs June 4, 2008 Alaskan Kid (Anchorage, AK USA) I purchased this little scale thinking I could use it to weigh food portions for meals. It is small and compact and travels nicely in the little travel pouch included. That's the good part. The scale itself just wouldn't work correctly to weigh in ounces. I returned the product.
worthless piece of junk June 1, 2008 Home Jay Simpson (Springfield) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
who in his/her right mind would design a kitchen scale that goes only to 100g? that is like 3 (small) bags of chips and you are over the limit. on top of that, it has 3 decimal places, like anyone will care if the flour is 90.003 g. waste of time and money. lastly, the biggest object you can put on it is a cup because the scale platform is so small that anything else would hit the case and give you an incorrect measurement. pure junk. maybe good for measuring gold rings, diamonds, etc, but it's a joke in the kitchen.
Great Little Scale May 6, 2008 Phoebe Stubblefield (Grand Forks, ND) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this scale for use at work, to monitor my snacking. The Escali comes with a storage sleeve and a calibration weight--both items that inspire confidence in the longevity of the product. I've used it for a few days now and find it reliable and very portable. I strongly recommend this product.
No problems April 26, 2008 Dave M. 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I use this scale every day to measure espresso beans. It is very accurate and so far I've had no problems. It's necessary to memorize a few steps to calibrate the scale. The only gripe I have is: there is no place to grip the case to open it easily. Watch out for "close-out" scales from other vendors. I ordered one and it was defective. They would not refund me.
pocket scale February 18, 2008 A. McMillan We received our order and it is very easy to use. It is also very accurate. It has helped with weighing our food portions when we eat out. It is very useful.
